February 2025 saw us arriving in Karvenagar, a cozy residential neighborhood with a big appetite for authentic flavors. The opening of our Karvenagar outlet was particularly heartwarming – it felt less like a commercial launch and more like a neighborhood celebration. Many who visited on opening day already knew about our spicy reputation, and those who didn’t were drawn in by the irresistible smell of garlic and fried chilies wafting through Ganesh Nagar’s streets. In fact, by late afternoon on Day 1, we noticed something special: families were coming together – parents introducing their kids to vada pav for the first time, and grandparents nodding in approval at the traditional thecha taste. We even saw a few people from neighboring Kothrud and Erandwane who drove over just to grab our famed vada pav! Karvenagar welcomed us like old friends, making this outlet an instant community hub.

A unique aspect of Karvenagar’s story is the person behind the counter. This outlet is run by one of our own super-fans turned franchise partner – an individual who left a comfy IT job to follow his passion for food (talk about spice and soul coming together!). His personal touch – greeting every customer with a smile and a recommendation – made everyone feel at home. Locals quickly learned they could count on us for their 4 pm chai-time snack or a quick bite after an evening walk in the park. Our crispy Jain Vada Pav (no onion, no garlic) introduced at Karvenagar was a hit with the Jain community and health-conscious folks, showing that we’re committed to serving everyone without compromising on taste. The buzz here was so positive that by the end of our first month, this outlet was selling nearly as many vada pavs as our Baner branch – truly a grand success for a primarily residential area. Karvenagar has shown that when you offer genuine flavor, people will seek it out and make it part of their daily lives.
